home search ESP Reviewed September 25, 2008
by Mark

this is nearly the home search equivalent of ESP... home search has always been quantitative and, let's face it, when looking at a major emotional purchase you don't want your options limited by basic features. i want my dream home.

so, sure, it helps the realtor look like a local wizard but more importantly, it helps the end user achieve their goals quicker, easier, and with less stress.

Intuitive and Comprehensive Reviewed September 24, 2008
by TwoChairs  from Clearlake, CA

Working with real estate agents across the country, I see many versions of MLS data displays, most are tired and only offer a data-sort approach. The combination of basic data search, custom search and pre-set text topics like "Mountain View Homes" "Holiday Homes" "Log Homes for Sale" make this experience attractive and enjoyable for me. It also indicates that the agent knows the market and its subtleties.
You might think-- "attractive" "enjoyable" so what...it's all about the data. Yes, it is and it should be as comprehensive as possible. But great search experience is not about confronting online buyers with a poorly designed page full of drop down menu fields and boxes!
When I wanted a custom search, it was there for me-simple-easy.
I immediately got a sense of the landscape, the feel of the service area that these agents focused on [mountains, lakes, retreats, farms, bucolic and woodsy, holidays in a snowy landscape]. These are all extremely important images for a person who is searching for their next life and lifestyle. Drop down data menus do not help place me in a home. They should be there when I'm ready but a site shouldn't bludgeon me with endless fields to click upon arrival.
I love their approach and this product and wish that our agent clients could make use of it. Show it to Marc Davison at 1000Watt.com I bet he would appreciate it!
Excellent job. Thanks for building a listings search for humans.

Looks More like a ad Reviewed September 17, 2008
by rebroker  from San Diego

This is just a ad for the web company. IMO not worth the time. Plus, in San Diego we can filter the MLS data for our clients.

Simple but solves a real business problem Reviewed September 12, 2008
by FrankP

It looks pretty simple at first. But as a tool to get agents to focus on what they want and attract those they want to work with it looks pretty much best in class. And the numbers in that big link below the graphic are compelling.
