Excellent resource that i always use to research for iRule examples and benefit from other member's experience. The Devcentral team is very helpful and responsive. It just works. I love it.

Great for partners too

My company is partner of F5 and DevCentral has been a goldmine of information and a fantastic resource. DevCentral enabled us to create a Big-IP integrated product with iRules and iControl in an amazingly short amount of time. In fact, we had a working prototype in less than a week by using examples and help from DevCentral. Also, there are many core F5 developers active on DevCentral as well as other experts within the user community that seems to always respond quickly to questions and requests for help. When we first found iRules and iControl, we thought that was way cool. Then we found DevCentral and we thought that was brilliant!

Wide Ranging and Extensive Help

DevCentral is excellent. As an F5 distributor, I am always looking for solutions and ideas to both opportunities and problems that arise on a day-to-day basis.
I always include numerous references to DevCentral and it helps us win business when used in combination with AskF5.
The best story I have about DevCentral when propsects do a reference check with other customers. Every customer cited DevCentral as one of the key factors as to why they liked F5 Networks.

I needed some help with an iControl to enable our Operators to limit connections during maintenance. I uploaded what I had written and asked for help. I expected we might get a reply in a few days. Joe from F5 responded within an hour and helped me write exactly what I needed. I was able to report to our project team that we were ahead of schedule. How often does a vendor help you say that - Thank you Joe!!

I love DevCentral. Not only does it give useful tips on how to better use my F5 gear (LTM, GTM, WebAccelerator, and FirePass) but gets me thinking about how to address some key projects in my company. Coverage of everything of the impact of AJAX on the network, Flash, and cloud computing. It keeps my day to day work relevant to emerging trends. It's become one of my top 3 sites.

I joined DevCentral a few years ago searching for help in solving a terminal server problem, and found not only the resolution, but several alternatives that might be a better fit. I was drawn immediately by the individuals that possessed such a sense of pride and expertise regarding their flagship product. Since then, the content has grown richer and more helpful, and the staffers and community participants continue to provide excellent support and insight. DevCentral is like extended family.

For me, F5's Dev Central community has been a key for information, new ideas, and excellent user-driven threads.
F5 has literally defined their market and have by far the most vision when it comes to application delivery (they may have even come up with this catch phrase!). Since what most everyone *really* cares about are the apps, F5 becomes an important element in the architecture, and their Dev Central site helps keep the ideas flowing.

I really like what F5 are doing. They are covering the gap between the network and the applications, so finally we can work together. You see this in dev central as well. There are lots of network discussion topics etc as well as lots of application configuration help and advice. Very useful indeed!

As an architect I can code down into the network to optimize and accelerate applications, virtualize and secure servers and services, and be confident that all the commodity functions like SSL, caching, compression, persistence... are done with performance designed network components. DC4 is the support mechanism, the community and master of my domain. F5 and DC4 ensure me ultimate IT Agility and application infrastructure support
