Brilliant!

It’s all about the people at Accenture – finding and using the experts you need to get the job done. The company’s use of social networking and video conferencing technologies to bring its worldwide inventory of expertise together is brilliant. Not unlike what’s happening at Accenture, electronic communications has moved so far beyond email, even in my own home and work life. My teens (the next generation of workers) hardly even USE email. They communicate via sites like Facebook or MySpace, or texting and IMs. I have to text my kids to tell them to check their email, LOL. In my own small business, we’ve leveraged online collaboration tools. For the 8 of us, that was fairly easy. It must've been orders of magnitude more challenging (yet essential) for Accenture to deploy such tools. Kudos to Accenture! They obviously practice what they preach.
