Open Port

Intel created the Open Port site in 2007 as a way to talk to our customers and the technical community about Intel products. The community site now incorporates 7 different sub communities where community managers, industry experts, and the community post blogs, host discussions, and post resources such as wiki documents to engage with each other.

This is one of my first go-to resources when it comes to vPro implementation. Thank you for providing easy access to peers who are struggling with the same issues.

Unexpected results Reviewed October 5, 2008

It has been amazing to watch this community grow and flourish. To see community members inspired to answer questions is something we hadn't considered. There are many intricacies and complicated aspects to Intel technologies that zealous customers love to discuss. And this community has also helped in a pre-sales sense when people can ask questions about which processors to purchase for their specific usage models.

Finally - a social media site where I can get "real" answers for an Intel issues! They even have software vendors out there helping to field questions so we don't have to cross-post into other sites! Wahoo! Great job Intel!

Great example of how users can help one another if given a forum/place to provide this dialog.
