So rare to see a company with over 200 global enterprise customers and every single one of them is happy! Seriously, talk to any one of them!

Believer in Service-now.com

The idea of software product development being driven through community input is not a new theme, but the technologies in place that have driven the groundswell movement are new. They have also substantially increased the pace in which innovative technologies are delivered. Service-now.com is a compilation of lessons learned, but more importantly an output of the ITSM community and applied in a way that gives IT shops more for less with much less complexity. Service-now.com innovation is a direct result of a community coming together to say "enough is enough, we demand less complex software using the latest in Internet technologies and delivered in a model that reflects our business (SaaS and subscription licensing)." I have to admit - I am a Service-now.com employee, but I have completely drank the Kool-Aid. Service-now.com is where it's at!

Game Changer

The global market for IT service management is fairly mature, but has historically innovated by acquisition and then left the customers to make all of the mess work. I see Service-now.com using Web 2.0 & Software as a Service as a significant game changer in terms of integrated product functionality, time to implement and overall cost. >1.5 million end users in 3 years...there's something to this stuff.

I submitted this nomination and naturally like what I see. Even though Service-now.com is not like the other submissions, it is noteworthy as an enterprise tool, built on social media and being used by about 200 businesses around the world. What's better than a service desk solution that helps IT folks be happy, improves service to the end user, and boosts a company's bottom line?
